‘Porcupine Gorge’ National ParK  Nature experience

Spectacular gorge system running for 27km has two lookouts and camping facilities at the Pyramid Lookout and walking tracks from the camping area. The Gorge is known as the “Little Grand Canyon”. Campers can book online, phone or self register.

Federation Rotunda   Heritage site

Made from 20´ windmills brought in from local property, dated 1912 and 1916. These windmills originally used to pump water for stock.

Historic Coolabah tree  Photo opportunity

The Coolabah tree was blazed twice by Frederick Walker and Sir William Landsborough, whilst searching for Burke and Wills. The cement surveyor’s peg is adorned with four brass plaques representing historical figures and events of the area.

Remote Park with sparse open grass land and is part of the Desert Uplands bio – region. Bush camping is available by contacting the Ranger prior to arrival.
