With all modern services and facilities needed for a comfortable rest, combined with the traditional friendliness of a small town it is an ideal location to spend a couple days. Make your first stop the Tennant Creek Visitor Information Centre at Battery Hill Mining Complex 1.5km east of the town centre. We boast the centre will delight and surprise, there are brochures, films, rustic displays, and so much more. The staff welcome your interest and provide all details about tours and attractions locally and beyond. Karlu Karlu/Devil's Marbles

Thousands of gigantic granite boulders are scattered over a valley balanced one on top of the other and when struck by the rays of the setting sun, they are a photographer’s delight as they glow with such vibrancy.

The Battery Hill Mining Centre overlooks the town and the surrounding countryside and is named after the original 1930’s No. 3 Government gold stamp battery.
